AMP’s VT15 Series 1.7 cubic inch video transmitters are the smallest on the market to offer any of the following features individually or in combination: up to 2 Watts RF output power, dual RF power modes, power fold-back, full frequency band channelization, and video inversion. Standard fixed RF power levels range from 250 mWatts to 2 Watts. Transmitters may be optionally configured for dual power operation utilizing any two power levels.
Transmitter carrier frequency may be locally selected with BCD rotary switches accessible through the chassis lid or remotely selected with serial RS232 or SPI 3-wire interface. A set of slide switches allows control of dual power modes and video inversion.
Low power VT15 Series transmitters (250 mW and 500 mW) may be configured with up to two audio subcarriers. When equipped with audio, additional slide switches allow control of audio on/off and audio input level selection (line/mic).
With military telemetry heritage, VT15 Series transmitters are designed to withstand harsh environments and are ideal for law enforcement, surveillance, covert operations, and other applications requiring high quality video transmission in a compact, rugged package.
The VT15 Series RF and microwave video transmitters are available in UHF (340-400 MHz), L-Band (1300-1600 MHz or 1700-1850 MHz), S-Band (2200-2500 MHz), and C-Band (4400-4999 MHz).
